L'Artisan Parfumeur has amplified the nuances of the perfume of the Iris - all of the Iris, from flower to rhizone - to pay homage to this extraordinary olfactory.

The tender sweetness of the blue flower top notes, with their fresh floral scent, slightly green, is redolent of lily of the valley, softened by suave powdery notes with marshmallow accents, essences of orange blossom, Turkish rose and star aniseed, that a violet leaf absolu renders tenderly infantile.

In the velvety, floral-wood middle notes, hints of cedar, vetiver, and patchouli merge with the depth of the Iris absolu creating an almost gourmet accent, reminiscent of chocolate.. Woody and floral, it emerges without artifice, in its most extreme subletly.

Like a goldsmith, l’Artisan Parfumeur finely carved out each harmony from the absolute, so that all the subtle facets of the fragrance come together to create a thrilling moment.
The fragrance opens on a top note of grassy green freshness, with accents of the country and wildflowers, and nuances of blackcurrant bud and freshly cut hay. The sensuality is ambiguous, nearly as masculine as feminine, evoking the powdery scents of mimosa and iris, and finally losing itself in the honey-like sweetness of sublime blond tobacco and the bewitching notes of moss and leather.

This wildly original, infinitely complex fragrance speaks to all the senses with incomparable elegance. A concentrate of nature that magnifies all the qualities of a harvest forever unique, it has only one flaw: its limited quantity.
